Like everyone above me said, it is when your period stops. The process though, can take years so in those years is when you have all the nasty symptoms like irritablility,night sweats, heavy/light periods... However, there is a good side because once you are done going through menopause, you never have to worry about your period again and you can't get pregnant so dont have to worry about that either!
