Vagina Itching and Burning?
Question:
I used a tampon for the first time and went swimming with it on.
I didnt keep it on for too long it was only about an hour.
And the day after, my vagina started to itch inside really bad to the point that I couldn't sleep.
It's been 5 days, and I still itch, but now when I peed it burned really bad.
I didnt have any sex at all, and Im only 14.
I am very hygenic also.
What could be wrong?

It sounds like you've got a yeast infection. No big deal, it happens all the time to a lot of woman. Swimming and staying in your bathing suit for a while after swimming can be a contributing factor. Usually an over the counter treatment will clear this up. Just tell your mother what is going on, and have her buy you a 3 or 7 day treatment. It will be a cream that you will have to put into the vagina. Good luck!
It sounds like you could have a Urinary Tract Infection. To be on the safe side, take some Azo pills, and get an appointment with your doctor. :)

omg it is happenng to me right now i cant sleep at all i itch it makes me cry and cranberry juice helps and yogurt dont use baby powder it makes it worst i too a bubble bath and started to itch i just started a my period again 2 days ago
Ask your mother to take you to a doctor ASAP! You could have a yeast infection or urinary tract infection and either one of these could turn into something more serious if not treated properly and promptly. You don't say whether you were i a pool or not, so I can't give any more advice than that. Your problem could have been caused by any number of things that your doctor could explain to you.

There can be a possibility that you didn't put it in correctly..
Or it was not the right size..
Just clean it with a soap free wash like Vagisil so its not harsh on your vagina or would irritate it.
Make sure you dont clean inside it..that would hurt..
