15 wks preg and 2 days?

Question:
pains in your legs any1 else getting them in preg? and hip pain ?????

Answers:
A lot of women find that they get leg and hip pain during pregnancy. Your body releases hormones that allow the ligaments of the pelvis and hips to relax to allow the baby to pass through, this alters the line of the hips and spine enough that it makes the muscles work in a different way.

The best advice I could give it to do gentle stretching exercises (check with your GP/midwife first) don't wear high heels, spend as little time as possible on your feet.

If the pain becomes worse, or alters in anyway, consult your GP.

Mrs Mac- did you mean Symphysis Pubis? It is not a weakening of the pelvis, it is where the the bones that make up the pelvis join together at the front.
speak to your midwife - most likely Pubis Symphosis (apologies for spelling) - which is a weakening in the pelvis. it's very common - your body produces an extra boost of the hormone relaxin, which as it's name suggests is a relaxant. As the pelvis is made up of bone joined by cartiledge, too much relaxin can weaken the cartiledge and given the wight of the baby et all pushing down on it, will leave you sore. If this is the case you will be told not to push shopping trolleys, not to cross your legs, and only SIT on the sofa. In very extreme cases you have to wear a giant tubi-grip, which keeps the pelvic joints all tight, and supports the weight of the baby relieving the weight on the pelvis.
