Can having an IUD make your boobs hurt really bad?

I had an IUD inserted a few months ago and my boobs started hurting a few weeks ago . They even feel hard if its not that , what else could be going on ? Past experience anyone?Thanks

I had an IUD for about 10 years. Sometimes my periods (and PMS symptoms) were a little worse, but nothing like this. I don't think it's related to the IUD -- please call your doctor.
