Missed period?

Question:
i am over 3 weeks late for my period i have 2 children and i just dont feel pregnant, i had my last depo shot in december would that be making me late even though it was so long ago? how long does it stay in your system?

Answers:
It could take up to a year or two to get your periods back.

I went on the pill after my last depo shot and it came back in three pill packs/months.
Its not a matter of staying in your system. The real question is were you taking the depo with your other children? If not, then you could be pregnant, The only way to find out is to do the test. You can feel different with each pregnancy. To answer your question, the effect of the shots can last for months after the last shot. You system has been hormonally altered. Call your OB and ask them the question, they will be able to give you an informed answer. It can't hurt to ask. Goodluck!
