Have you had an ablation for Endometriosis or Adenomysosis?

Question:
How did you feel afterward and how has your life changed since?

Answers:
I had ablation last year. After the procedure I cramped for about 4 hours and had slight bleeding for a few weeks after. The pain wasn't anything that Advil couldn't handle. It was worth it.
I haven't had one, but I'm interested in the type done with super-heated water (to stop monthly bleeding) after I have Essure done. The procedure sounds a bit painful, but like it would be worth it in the end. You should read up on the different ways to have it done. Good luck!
I had the NovaSure procedure and a D & C done at the same time. I had no problems at all. I wish I had done it sooner.
I had one done for Endo 2 years ago. Hysteroscopy w/laser. didn't require any pain meds, bled for a few weeks.

It is not a cure for Adenomyosis though.
