It can be caused by bad hygiene, but the main reason why girls can emit an awful smell is usually one of three things: Fungal/bacterial infection, STD, and DOUCHING. Yes, douching. Either bad hygiene or an infection. And Nat, douching and feminine sprays are not recommended by doctors, they can cause these infections, and your body has its own natural cleansing action. And just because you don't shave doesn't mean it's dirty, that's what soap is for! You don't shave your head when it gets dirty, do you? No, you wash it.
