Im 12 years old and just lately iv been really itchy "down below" and iv noticed a rash. What is it?

sounds like thrush ,dont be frighted as it is quite normal to get it ,it can be caused with wearing nylon tights ,nylon pants,strong perfumed bath or shower cream,i can be sure if it is definately it,but i would go to doctor and he will be able to know for sure ,if you dont want to do that then you could buy a thrush cream in the chemist and just try it out first see it that helps ,i would try and not use high smelling perfumed cream to wash down there for a while use something very mild ,there are sorts of bacteria down there that are clean and thrush is caused when the bacterica are distrubed in some way by the above things can bring it on,when i was younger just wearing a pair of tights would bring it on or taking penacillen,i hope you sort it out but if its so itchy you are screaming it is defo thrush ,its horrible but as i say the cream is brill,you can also use a tablet you take orally just one tablet , means it works it that it wont bother you at all for ages ,so when it happened to me a went to chemist asked for the oral tablet for thrush and the cream,the cream is important to have as it cools it all down and its handy to have in case it comes on again ,just one of the little annoying things being a girl/woman ,but once you know whats happening you soon get used to it all,good luck and dont be embarassed ,hope you get it sorted !

You could have a mild infection you need to check with your doctor and see if you need medications or special cream:)

have mom/dad take you to the doctor...
it could be scabes, herpes, or an allergic reaction
you need to tell your mother. and have her either take you to your pediatrician or have mom take you to her "female" doctor.
I would go get it checked! You can always ask to see a female doctor if you're uncomfortable about going! If you're sexually active it could be an STD. Also yeast infections cause itchiness but I'm not sure about the rash. It could just be redness from scratching.
Could be an infection. It can be caused by things like bathing in a tub that's not clean enough or wearing your bathing suit when it's not cleaned properly.
Tell your mom and you should probably go to the doctor.

Tell your parents (or someone you trust), go to the doctor.
Do you shave down there? When you first shave down there it itches which will turn it red. But if its something else go see a doctor!
