Is it possible to wear a pad in the pool?

Question:
Ive heard that when you go in water, the pressure stops the flow. But what happens when you get out? the pad would be soaked, so would it drip? please help

Answers:
you shouldn't be swimming...think about everyone else...do you want other people peeing in the pool or crapping? yes it's gross and it's just as gross for you to go if you are on your rag...that's not healthy...
wouldn't the pad expand? it'll then be very visible. what I do (because I just can't miss an opportunity to swim) is have a towel nearby when you come out, and put on a pad as soon as possible.
i wouldn't advise it!
Your flow doesn't stop when you go into the pool or take a bath, the blood from your period goes into the water and you don't see it, and never wear a pad when you go swimming in public, just wear a tampon, it's better and more comfortable and doesn't embarass you when you get out.
don't do it! the pad will expand like a babys nappy..wear a tampon or just don't go is my advise...=) lol
Water slows/stops the flow. Please dont wear a pad in the pool. It can come apart as you swim and is less sanitary than a tampon. And it will bulge and retain water, so when you get out Im sure it will be noticable. Especially if you chose a brand that has wings.
yes, it is possible, but it is disgusting and unsanitary.
the second you get out of the pool, you will start bleeding again.
I wouldn't advise wearing pads while swimming.
its not a very good idea to do becuase when you jump in the pad will soaked with water so there be something sqishy in the croach area rubbing against you then when you get out the croach area will sink because the pad is full of water and waeight it down.
no, you should not wear a pad in the pool. it will drip and swell up like a really wet diaper. if you need to get some tampons and you will be safe to go in the water.
use a panty liner. You dont really need it to soak up just not to get the pool and your bathing suit bloody. Change it by the hour. A pad is definity visible. You just need something stoping the blood from getting all messy over your bathing suit!
you can wear one if you want, but I wouldnt advise it, it will swell up, become visable and wont really stop the flow anyway.

Being in the water wont stop the flow either.

You will either need to wear a tampon or not swin at that time of the month
no no pad pls, it will float on water and everyone will notice, it is possible that if your flow is light it may stop, but just to be sure use a tampon, I´ve used it and it is great on water, don´t worry, but no pads that is a mess.

Good Luck!
;D
NEVER wear a pad in the pool! The minute you jumped in it would soak up water and then wouldn't be able to soak up the blood. (it would also end up blowing up and look like a diaper) You'd end up BLEEDING IN THE POOL! Water DOES NOT stop a period. It just washes away the blood.
If you are going swimming you HAVE to wear TAMPONS> No tampon=No pool.
Tampons are the only choice for swimming while on your period.
You will have a ball of squishy cotton in between your legs... it is quite self explanatory
Yes, the pad would be soaked and any blood it gathered from walking to the pool would be in the water. Would you want to swim in that? Also, when you get out, it would be just like a diaper (ever see a kid in a pool?). Not to mention if you tilt your pelvic area just right, the blood would come out even if you are in water.

PLEASE... think about that for a minute. A PAD, in WATER. It will be like a diaper and soak up the pool water.

And, your period DOES NOT STOP FLOWING IN WATER. The water washes it away into the pool so fast it only LOOKS like it slows down or stops, but it does not.

Use a tampon, or a moon/diva cup, or do not go into the water.
Well your pad would expand like its blood from your period and it would be embarassing when you get out. Just wear a tampon. :]]
