Sounds like a Yeast Infection. The dr. will give you antibiotics and tell you to eat yogurt.
Yeast infections are caused by high levels of "bad bacteria" or low levels of "good bacteria" ...which thrive in .. warm, moist places.. .
Wearing satin or silk panties can be part of a culprit of a yeast infection.. cotton ones absorb moisture.
If you are on Antibiotics, that will kill off the "good bacteria" and then the "bad bacteria" will thrive, causing a yeast infection.

You probably have a yeast infection...or some type of vaginitis...to stop the itching while waiting to see your doctor...buy some OTC yeast cream that you can rub on..it will make it more comfortable for now...
