Fainting when using tampons..?
Question:
i actually used one the month after with help of some jelly stuff
time after i tried i fainted again.
and the third time i used one without the jelly, but fainted just after i applied it. i really panicked the first time i tried to use one and now i am scared of having to use one incase it happens again. i feel sick and squirmish when i think about using one, but what will happen when i am older and i have to go for smear tests and stuff. i feel really nervous and a little worried about it.

This may not be happening because you're nervous and scared. This may indeed be response to vagus nerve stimulation.
Very simply put, the vagus nerve is the largest nerve in your body and it "wanders" throughout the body, including into the abdomen. Stimulation of this nerve may result in decreased heartbeat, decreased blood pressure, and fainting.
Interestingly, this nerve is often stimulated during enemas or rectal exams.
This is something you need to tell healthcare providers who are preparing to do a procedure (such as a Pap smear) on you. Don't be worried; they'll understand!
It must trigger what they call a vagel response and if it were me I'd steer clear of tampons as this can be a dangerous situation that could result in death look it up!

I dont think ur using them right. I've never heard of that happening to somebody before. Get ur mother to bring u to an Gynecologist and maybe she can figure this out. Dont leave a tampon in to long no longer then 6 hrs to play it safe. Read the instruction and warning labels.
stop using them pads arent that bad and when the time comes that you have to use one go to the gyno and she will tell you what is wrong
Just breathe. You are probably holding your breath when you tense up. You need to practice when you are relaxed. Slow even breathing.
you're getting tss, you shouldn't use tampons. it happens to some girls.
