Brown discharge and no period ever?

Question:
I am 13 years old and I have yet to start my period. A month or so ago I had brown discharge for about 1 1/2 weeks. Now again I am having dark brown discharge. Is this an infecion?!?! please please help!!

Answers:
I would suggest telling your mother and going to the Doctor.
Chances are that you are having spotting related to getting your period. That is really common. You aren't having real periods yet because your body is not quite mature enough. Ask your mom about it, and if there is any further concern have her make an appointment with your doctor.
brown discharge normally is ur period but bc u had it for 1 1/2 weeks then idk...im 14 years old and my first 3 periods have been brownish discharge.
infection discharges are usually greenish yellowish. It's proabbly not an infection. If ur vagina is itchy, then it may be an infection. Dark brown is normal, ive had that before and im fine.
Probably a really light period but don't get too exited yet it may be an infection
No it isnt dont worry. Alot of girls get that, you will eventually start your period.
sounds like your period.
when i was same age with u. im also scared about this problem.. IT'S NORMAL actually. BUT if non-stop that "brown" ,please corfom wit yr doctor ok...
My cousin asked me exactly the same question. This is merely the first sign of you starting your periods. Your body is going to adapt to this in different ways and this is one of them. It is unlikely to be an infection as you are so young so i wouldn't worry x
