Why do my boobs always hurt before i get my period?

Hormones, sweetie. It sucks. Breast tissues usually have fluid in them before you get your period, and the retention of fluid can cause boobs to swell or get heavier or sore. It should go away right when your period comes though!

mine are the same way. god just created us that way. o well we are going to have to deal with it
the same thing happens to me and many other ladies. it just normal.

a change in the hormones. try some Tylenol, and a warm bath. sometimes i even use a heating pad on mine to relieve the soreness.

It's because of the hormone progesterone it surges after ovulation and it can cause breast tenderness.

Water retention. As strange as it sounds drink even more water to force out the salts and etc. You will feel much better if you do! I never used to drink enough water and I work out alot. Now I focus on drinking more and my boobs are rarely ever sore.

It's probably your hormones that alter your mind and attitude and that scares off anybody that wants to massage them.

I want to say I feel sorry for all who go through this. Depending on your age, depending how close you are with the females in your family, u should ask them, if they honestly don't know, then u came to the right place. I know this happens to my girlfriend alot, it really stinks, sometimes she dont want to do much until the soreness goes away. I found this question interesting since i have a g/f who talks about this all the time. thanks for opening a discussion.
