Need advise on Horethisterone and Clormid prescription drugs?

Question:
My husband and I are having problems conceving. Last week we met with a fertility doctor who has perscribed me Horethisterone and Clomid. I understand when to take them (horethisterone to start my period and Clomid to be taken the second day of my period) How will the drugs work? are there any side effects? how successfull is this treatment in getting pregnant?

Answers:
Shud have asked the dr. Ur choices r limited. Either continue the treatment if u want children or stop it.
I had my periods every month and used only clomid.I hear it has several side effects like hot flashes, headaches, bloating though not sure about those.I use 50mg,took it on cycle day 3-7,didnt have any side effects and awaiting results.I will not test untill the day my period are expected that is 8th August.
Good luck to you.
These clomid will boost your ovulation, particulaly if you have been experiencing little or no ovulation, and in cases were scists are detected in your tubes. You can use these boosters for 3 month cycle, and your dr should monitor the developments,. The doc may recommebd a higer dose and if the problem percists, you may opt for aided conception at fertility clinics. your hubby may also need to have a check on the spem count and motiliy ( ability to move) And I urge u to pray to God, he can make miracles-later
