Pregnant or not is the question?
Question:
Answers:
Always get a second opinion. Also you need to monitor your HCG until it gets to 0 because tubal pregnancies are notorious for producing low HCG levels in pregnancy. Good Luck
I would assume that the doctor would know what they're talking about..we're just a bunch of strangers and I'm assuming most of us are not ob/gyns.if you don't trust what your doctor said, I would immediately go for a second opinion somewhere else.
good luck
So sorry about your situation.
Well, we aren't doctors, but they aren't perfect, until you actually miscarry I would say don't lose hope. What I really don't understand is how he knows you don't need a D & C. They decide that AFTER you lose the babies and the ultrasound reveals no tissue left that they need to remove to prevent infection.
Doctors and tests are sometimes wrong, hang in there!
the percentage for miscarriage is HUGE within the first 6 weeks. with this you'll just have to wait and see what happens. the doc said your hcg levels are low which is NOT a promising sign. generally the doctor always knows what they're talking about when it comes to this.
Sweetheart, first of all you must TRUST your Dr. When it comes to something like this the Dr is usually correct. I am so very sorry honey that you are miscarrying but..there is a reason for everything. Your body may not have been able to carry 2 baby's at the same time. You are still early in the pregnancy so that a D & C is not necessary. Thank God for that. Wait a couple of months before 'trying' to have a baby, give your uterus time to heal k? Good Luck.
same thing happened to me. i miscarried 7/31/07. My last pd was also 6/11!i was 6 weeks. started bleeding so i went to the ER and they said my hormone level was 13.4 whereas it shouldve been 145,000-200,000 at 6-7 weeks. So if your hormone level really is 638, I bet you are miscarrying. I'm really sorry. They shouldve told you to come back in 2 days to check your hormones again to see if they were rising or falling.
