Bleeding now for 11 days on the Mirena IUD...?
Question:
Answers:
I have the Mirena IUD also, for about 2 years. My periods also seem to be lasting longer than before. I have not yet told by gyno, but I haven't had any problems because of it, except for general annoyment, lol. I would see a doctor though just to make sure everything is ok.
GO TO YOUR DOCTOR
go to the doctor,
I switched from alesse combination pill to camilla progesterone only pill and I had a period for 13 days when I shouldn't have been bleeding at all.
Birth control will do this.
I'm hopefully getting the Mirena next month- depends if it'll fit in or not. So I really can't help but go to a doctor I suppose.
it really could just be your body adjusting though, why not call the doc first and see if you need to go in.
