Late period?

Question:

My period has never been particularly regular, usually coming a few days, maybe a week late and is usually quite light. It's now coming just over a week late and I was wondering if it may have something to do with some meds I have been taking. The first lot I was on is called "Trimethoprim" which I have now finished, and the second is "Spasmonal forte" which in my case is treating my uterus...hence why I believe it may be effecting it, however I cannot seem to find evidence of this. I do not believe there is a chance that I am pregnant, seeing as I'm a virgin, unless you can think of any other bizaare reason I might be? Any help with information is much appreciated - Thanks

If you really are a virgin, then you are probably not pregnant. However, even if you haven't had actual intercourse, it is possible if you have had any close genital contact with sperm. If none of that is the case, I would suspect it is due to your medications. You've also stated that your periods are irregular anyway, so it may just be that. If you continue to worry, please contact your doctor and ask about your periods and the meds. No question is stupid to your doctor, so ask! Good luck.

i would guess its from the meds. maby see a doctor and ask them about it.

i wouldn't worry if i were you...i'd defintely put it down to the medicine.
