In all honesty it could seriously harm the baby or possibly result in death. If at all possible I would either wait until after the birth of the baby, or have labor induced. I hope whom ever this question is based upon has a complete and speedy recovery. Good Luck to them! :-)
What a sad question. Do you actually know someone in this situation? The chemo probably would seriously harm the baby. The woman should be induced because the baby is old enough to survive outside the womb now.
If the baby is 9 months they would wait until it was born or a ceasearn would be performed I would imagine.
If the fetus is at 9 months in the pregnancy most doctors would elect to deliver the baby first and then give the chemo.
