Does everyone hate their period as much as me?
Question:
Answers:
No I would like to have mine back.
My daughter is using some kind of birth control that stopps the periods you can talk to you doctor about trying that. It might work for you. I think it is a shot. Your GYN will know what you need.
The reason I would like mine back Is that I have ovarian cancer and most of the girlie parts were removed 6 years ago. Truthfully I don't miss the period all that much. But I still bloat up monthly so there must still be lots of estrogen in me.
Girls check all your parts not just your knockers. If you have odd pains that seem like indegestion but different, any bloating loose stools or constipation ask your GYN for a CA125 test It is a marker for OVCA.. More women are getting gynecological cancers and early detection makes it easier to cure. Sorry if this is off topic.
Actually my daughter is taking the shots to eliminate the periods for a few years as it may also reduce her risk of getting cancer too..
Get the Depo shot. Once every 3 months...no period. I didn't have one for a year after I got off of it!!
know how you feel...try having one for a whole entire year nonstop because of the shot...not fun
yes, me! i hate it! makes me feel so awful everytime of tat month.. i also thought of ways to stop it.. haha! even thought of taking away my ovaries... =P
I have had my period for ten years now.and it still sucks. I hate it.
Not much you can do unless you do choose to take a more drastic way out...sorry.
no the only bad thing about mine is i cant wear a thong cuz i dont use tampons yet
Well, if you hate it that badly, get on a birth control plan that lowers the amount of periods you have a year. You're never too young to get on the pill (if you are having your period, then you're old enough for the birth control).
Personally, I welcome my period every month. Makes me feel more like a woman AND it reassures me I'm not pregnant and my pill is working!
****.. that sounds hell bad. It must suck. Put a band-aid on it.
I hated mine.
You may never get use to it, but the fact is, you will always have it. I don't know that every woman likes their period, but most of us have just accepted them as a part of our life and deal the best way we know how. Nothing, except drastic measures will make your period go away. I am not sure how old you are, but if you want kids one day, you'll need to keep from any drastic measures. Plus, unless you have a medical condition, a Dr. won't preform most procedures on you that would take them away. Birth control has been known to make periods a little more tolerable, maybe talk to your Dr. about that. Good Luck with what ever you decide.
Depo shots are the answer. You might have slight ones in the beginning, but they taper off to hardly nothing at all every month. You only have to get it like every 3 months. Or it may be every 4 months.
Your period can be kinda fun.
Each monthly period can be looked at like gambling. Roll the dice or balls, and see if you come up pregnant. When it shows up its just another month I won the bet.
Plus I can blame a ton of my attitude on my PMS!
You will get used to it eventually...Just kidding...
Yeah, it's no stress free ride, and it comes once a month--I hate things that come once a month and which last only 5 days! Dead-beat dads, my period, my pay check. But somewhere I read that your period is a cleansing of some body waste, a purifying of the body, but if that was the only reason, then would get it too, right? So another reason, is that the menstrual cycle creates a hormonal balance women need to reproduce, and if women didn't have that balance, we wouldn't be able to generate other little humans...
So there's the why, and yes, we do hate it.
I had my period for four years and learned to hate it. I use to know my period comes and now it just comes whenever they want to. You get to miss out on fun things.
