Question:
ok so i take ortho tricylin lo and im on day 6 or something and i went to take my pill and it fell out of my hand! i lost it i cant find it! what do i do? my husband and i have major plans for tomorrow (romantically)...would i be ok if i just waited and took it at normal time tomorrow?? please help im going insane!

Answers:
No! Don't double up like that other girl said. Take the next pill in the series, because the bad thing about pills, is that you could take them perfectly for months, never miss anything, and the day you miss a pill or skip it, you could get pregnant. I know this because I've had friends and my sister get pregnant for this very reason! Either hold off on your romantic night or take your next pill as soon as possible!
I'd go ahead and take the next pill, then just end the pack a day early, effectively changing the day that you start a new pack. I definitely wouldn't skip a dose!
This happened to me a while back. I used to actually carry them in my car and take it right before I went to work. One slipped out of my hands into a crack in my seat (what are the odds!) I called me doctor and since i had taken them for so long she said to take the one you would normally take for tomorrow and so on. You will just be a day early for your period.
All you have to do is double-up. This site should be helpful too.
