Question:
advil to be exact for cramps, every 5-6 hours i took about 2 pills total about 8 pills in 16 hours, i read on the box dont exeed 6 pills in 24 hours, will i get any bad side effects?

Answers:
you can take up to 800 miligrams every 8 hours, so that is.12 pills in 24 hours

i know this cos advil is ibuprophen, and ibuprophen is also called motrin, but motrin is 800 miligrams and advil is only 200.

(call a pharmacy, or a doctor's office, and they will instruct you the same)
Just wait for the next 38 hours before taking anymore. You should be fine, but for now, drink lots of fluids and notify your parents if your young. You should be fine.
Its hepatotoxic. ( toxic to your liver).
If you notice your skin or the white of your eyes turning yellow, go to the ER immediately.
Over an extended period of time, you can have some damage to your liver. I would suggest that you follow the directions from now on. If you are very concerned about what effects you could already have, then you might want to talk to your doctor.
Its not good to take lot of pills...but they are only 200 mil. I take 3 every 4 hours if my head hurts bad enough...never hurt me. BUT everybody's diff. and it is a anti flamitory <how ever u spell it> drug...so it could cause stomach bleeding. and my doc told me that after a while it can make you itch...but i have take 3 every 4 hours for a while day...no probs with me. But try and switch up...if advil isn't doin it and you've been takin advil for a while...take tylonal extra strengh and see if that don't so sumthin for ya...worked wonders for me.
