Do girls get bloated before, during, or after periods?
Question:
- Extremely irratable
- Random crying
- Feet feels bloated (if that makes any sense)
- Stomach cramps occasionally
- VERY VERY VERY VERY bloated
- weight gain of 4 pounds (is it water weight?!)
- really tired when I wake up
- tired during the day
- moody
- HORRIBLE back pains
- AWFUL aches throughout my whole body
(but the aches might be b/c I've been running cross country!)
- super stressed out with things to do in summer
- Feel gassy inside
These are the symptoms I have. Do I have PMS? Do all these awful symptons stop when I get my period?
Answers:
Sounds like normal PMS to me. The reason your feet feel "swollen" is because you are retaining water. Swelling of the hands and feet is called Edema.
You can take some Advil to relieve the aches a bit.
The weight gain is water weight. This is also due to water retention.
All women go through this at one time or another. Dont worry, it is completely normal. :)
You could have PMS or PMDD. It would be best to discuss these symptoms with your doctor. It sounds like PMS to me, but I only have these symptoms before and during - not after.
lol, those used to be all of my PMS symptoms, the gas being the worst!
It should only last for about 3 days. Get yourself some Midol and try not to dwell on it, it will make it all seem worse.
