I haven't had my period in 11 weeks. this is the longest its ever been. is this healthy?

Question:
im a virgin so i know its not that im pregnant. but the last time i got it was may 16. im 14 years old, and i just want to know if i should be worried.

Answers:
yeah, when you are young your period can be very irregular. it is completely normal . over time your hormones will even out and you will get a more regular cycle. if you still don't get it with in the another month i would maybe go see a doctor about getting on birth control pills. they will help regulate your period. but definitely normal and no worries ;-)
I have a friend who has her period once every three months and she is now happily married with two kids. It might not be anything serious but it is safer to consult a doctor to seek more professional advice.
If you have had it for more than a year then it may just be stress or illness. If you havne't had it longer than a year then you might just be still starting to get regular.
i dont really know what to say. but somtimes mine skips around alot and i told my mom and she say that its b/c i do alot of sports.
if you do sports ad work out alot them its normal.
if you havent had it many times yet, then you might just be irregular. it will take time to be regular.
Not uncommon.
I'm 14, too (turning 15 in about a month). A lot of informational books and stuff say your periods should start to become regular after 2 years, and I started over 2 years ago. Well, I haven't had my period in almost 3 months, so I'm starting to get a little worried myself. I'm thinking it's a horomone imbalance. You should check with your doctor, just in case. :-)
