What could this be?
Question:
For a couple of weeks, I have noticed a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen. (under my belly button.. I guess that's the pelvic area?) Well, it is from the middle of my lower stomach, and to the left. The right side doesn't hurt. As of this moment, it isn't hurting. but, it's usually off and on. If you put any bit of pressure on it, it hurts. I was told that it could possibly be PID or cysts, but the only symptom I have of that is the lower stomach pain. Could that be it?
I don't have insurance, and I'm not working at this current time, so would I be put on a sliding scale if I went to a Health Department? And how exactly does that work?
My period is due within the next few weeks, so it isn't cramping or PMS.. I know how all of that feels. This is just down right painful at times. It doesn't hurt when I pee, my pee isn't a weird color, I have no funny discharge... just this pain.
Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. No silliness please!

If you are not working, you may be able to qualify for Medicaid or other state sponsored insurance. Since I am not sure which state you are in, I don't know exactly would be available to you. If the pain is intense when you have it, you could go to the nearest emergency room and work out a payment plan. Otherwise, you could check into what state sponsored insurance you would qualify for and set up an appointment with a doctor from there. Your symptoms could indicate several different ailments, so I wouldn't be able to say what it could be.
Could be urinary trac infection. I have had those symptoms numerous times and cured the problem by drinking a 64oz. container of cran berry juice. You will not find 100% cranberry juice so just get as high a concentrate as possible. Cost about $4.00. If that is your problem it will go away within two days. If not, you have a larger problem.
go to the er they won't make u pay right away
