its different for every girl, but it usually lasts for about 4-7 days. you will know its stopping when the blood gets less, cramps stop, and the blood gets more brown and starts to smell really weird. but even when that happens, wear a thin pad just in case its not really over yet. its a good idea to keep a calendar with red dots on the day you got it so you will know kinda when you think it's gonna happen again next month :)
MY first was a month but thats not normal, probably 3-5 days. Everyones different though.
