Sex isn't the reason. Try switching the tampons to another kind, and only using them a few times per day and go with pads in the evenings.

My aunty used a tampoon ,due to heavy periods like you,but it got stuck in her... and she had a operation to remove it out again.So advisably just use regualar pads dont use tampoons.
