Welcome to womanhood, this is in fact your period.
this sounds like your period is on its way x
You are gonna start your period soon. That happened to me in the 6th grade and I ended up getting my period for the first time
that is the start of your period!! congrats. usually in the beginning it comes on as brown or pink and usually ends that way. good luck!
Sounds like you're about to start hun. Keep a pad in your bag just in case it comes full whack when you're out. Oh and steer clear of light coloured trousers until you're sorted!
It sounds like a period, which can often start with a brown discharge. Can you not talk to your dad?
sounds liek you are starting one or are on a light one.
Dad's know about periods! it might be a little uncomfortable for you both but you have to tell him how you feel, so he can help. talk to him and he might just know a lady you can talk to. you also really need to get to a doctor to get a check up and some information.
You are not 13 and are not a female. 13 Year olds does not use the word "discharge" and they do not use a male avatar.
Get a life!
It can well be the start of your period. A lot of girls experience their period as brownish discharge. Should your tummy aches not go away, you HAVE to go to a gyn, just to make sure. You should see one anyway after your period started, once a year for regular checkups and breast cancer prevention etc.
Hope you're feeling better soon. If you have more questions that you dont want to discuss here, drop me a line.
Take care,
JB
I think you have just started it darling. Usually when you just start out and your last day of your period it is brown discharge/blood. Tomorrow it should be either dark red or normal red blood. Is there a school nurse or a friend's mom you could ask?
Well you are probably on your way to womanhood honey it's just taking a lil bit of time. Learn how to talk to your dad bout this kind of stuff. Not only will you develop a relationship with your dad but he will understand you. And then maybe he can take you to a doctor to get checked to make sure your ok. Good luck!
Yes sweetheart, sounds like you've started it. You'll be ok, just get a warm hot water bottle & go to sleep, you'll be fine & go to the chemist in the morning & ask someone there what sort of sanitary protection you should buy, there are loads out there.
Spending you bigs hugs. (((0))) xxxx
I agree with the others, seems like it's on its way!
Dont worry or be scared, this is perfectly normal. At first your periods may not be regular or even have much blood, but they will settle down over the next few months. Wear pantyliners for now but always keep a pad in you bag so you are not caught out. You will be fine!
Sounds like it Honey, I was lucky i could talk to my dad, he was very understanding. If your moody and sort of all over the place most likely it's your period. I wouldn't ignore the pain though, go to your GP if it gets worse. Try a hot bath it sometimes helps.
Yep, i think it's your period! if you have a close friend, you might be able to go shopping with her and her mom for pads/tampons! I suggest just for now start wearing a panty liner. GOOD LUCK!
Yes you are starting. It may stop and start like that for a while until you have a full proper bleed. Until you have a chance to ask an adult female you trust like an aunty or your best friends mum, teacher or someone like that...your Dr doesn't have to be the one you ask..you can talk to the practice nurse or ask to see a female doctor! You have the right to feel comfortable with whoever you see..
Until then...here are a few other bits of information you can read..
What are periods?
When girls become sexually mature and their bodies become capable of carrying a baby, they begin to produce female sex hormones. These are naturally occurring chemicals that control the development of breasts, the growth of pubic and armpit hair and also control periods.
Menstruation, or periods, are times when a girl or woman bleeds naturally from the vagina. Periods are a sign of health and show that the body is functioning as it should.
It is a good idea for a girl to talk to her mother about periods, or if this seems difficult or is not possible, she might prefer to speak to a sister, a cousin or someone else she feels comfortable talking to.
What happens in the body during a period?
The female reproductive organs inside a girl's body comprise:
the ovaries, which produce eggs and hormones.
the fallopian tubes, which connect the ovaries to the uterus.
the uterus (womb), a muscular organ where the egg can attach itself once it has been fertilized by a male sperm cell when pregnancy occurs.
the cervix or neck of the womb, which connects the uterus to the vagina.
the vagina starts at the bottom of the cervix and is the passage that leads outside the body. It does several things. It leads the blood out of the uterus and away from the body. The vagina is also the opening into which the man puts his penis during sexual intercourse and the channel through which a child is born.
When a girl reaches puberty, her hormones become active.
A hormone called oestrogen is made in the ovaries. Oestrogen affects the lining of the womb (endometrium) and makes it grow and develop.
After 10 to 14 days, the ovaries release an egg, and begin to produce another hormone called progesterone. The egg has now moved from the ovary to the uterus through the Fallopian tube. If the egg has not been fertilised by a sperm, the production of progesterone stops. When that happens, the lining of the womb comes away with a little blood and the girl gets her monthly period. The entire process takes about 28 days.
When do girls begin to have periods?
Most girls get their first period when they are 10 to 16 years old. The average age is 12.5 years. Women continue to have periods until they are 45 to 55 years old when the menopause occurs. Periods stop during pregnancy.
How often do women menstruate?
Periods happen about once a month. They last for four to seven days after which there is a pause of about 23 days (three weeks or so) until the next period, although the menstrual cycle varies from one girl to another. In some girls it may be longer or shorter than 28 days or it may be irregular, especially in the first few months after they have started.
It is a good idea to note the days your period occurs in a diary or calendar. This will make it easy to see exactly how many days there are between periods and makes it possible to work out when to expect your next period.
How do you prepare for your first period?
It is practical and reassuring to know that there are sanitary towels ready in the bathroom or bedroom to prepare for a first period.
When a period begins, a sanitary pad is simply placed in the underwear to absorb the blood. It is also a good idea to have a sanitary towel in a school bag, just in case a period begins while she is at school. However, if a girl has not brought a sanitary pad to school and her period begins, she should be able to get them from the school nurse or from a teacher.
When a girl begins her period, she usually discovers it by noticing blood on her underwear or on toilet paper after drying herself. She may also feel some cramping pain or discomfort in her lower abdomen.
What do you do with a used sanitary towel?
When changing a sanitary towel, wrap some toilet paper around the one you have used, or, if the new sanitary towel is sealed in a plastic bag, put the used one into that. Then place it in the waste bin which is almost always located next to the toilet. It should not be flushed down the toilet, as it absorbs water and may block the toilet.

Doyou know your dad is more than likey more worried about this than you and will be expecting it at some point.
You are starting a period and everyone is different when they start it is normal.
get some sanitary towels if you have no money ask your dad for some money he will understand trust me.
Take some paracetomol for the pain only two tablets for your age every four hours.
keep a diary of when it happened so that you can see the pattern of when you will be on your period around every 28 days but this may vary due to you only just starting so diary is important.
Always is a good sanitary towel to use as it keeps you drier longer.
try and mention it to your dad or another female relative do you have a grandma or friends to chat to.
