What are the potential causes for being 3 weeks late on your period besides pregnancy?

Question:
I am 3 weeks late and have taken two pregancy tests. The first was 2 weeks ago and the second was yesterday. Both came out negative.
I am 20 years old and I am in a sexually active relationship so I don't know if I should rule out being pregnant all together since both tests came back negative or what.
I just want to know if there are any other factors that might cause me to be this late. I am almost a month late now. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Answers:
Stress can cause you to be late- but I would not rule out pregnancy- you should go and get a blood test if you start feeling like you might be pregnant- i.e. start having other symptoms- tiredness, frequent urination, nausea...etc.

Good luck! I hope you get what you want
another reason is you might be really stressed out
it does that to me maybe 1 or 2 weeks late say if i had
a paper due or somthing
that happens to me...it will come...if it doesnt in 2 mon. ur pregnant
your stress level could effect your period..your nurtrition. but i wouldnt rule out pregnancy until you have had a test done at your local clinic.
The first one is probably stress, because you are thinking on a pregnancy, second will be hormonal imbalance, talk to your best friend and let it out and relax.
