I assume that your doctor has told you that you have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This is an endocrine disorder in the family of Diabetes. The symptoms include weight gain, multiple follicular cysts on one or both ovaries, and an excess of the male androgen testosterone, which will cause an increased growth of hair where you want it the least like your chin and chest. You can also experience erratic and infrequent periods and your fertility will be increasingly compromised as you age. Your doctor should be putting you Gloucophage to help control the symptoms. He can also put you on birth control pills which will increase your estrogen levels. Hopefully, the combination of these or similar drugs will make you feel better. There are also some surgical alternatives if your condition is severe. Look up the malady on Web Med or anything other site that explains it in terms a person without a medical degree would understand. Also look up PCOS.com. Arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible before you go back to a doctor.
thats confusing
get a different doctor
yours is a weiiirdddoo
Women developing cysts on their ovaries is very normal and happens to everyone. Alot of times we can even have them and not know. And then there are times where they are painful.
Sometimes they will go away on their own and sometimes they do need to be treated with medications. Some even have to be surgically removed, which is a minor surgery.

Now about your doctor. It is very important to have good communication with your doctor. If you find that you are not having this, then I would find a doctor that you are more comfortable with.
You have to feel good about your doctor because they will have to know the most intimate parts of you and you have to feel good enough about talking to them about these things.
If you're not comfortable with this doctor, talk around with friends and see who other people in your area go to. You might feel alot better with a different doctor.
Take care and don't worry, cysts are very normal ;)
Most medications that doctors prescribe are not good for you at all in the long run. Try to find another doctor (because the one you have now is not good) that encourages natural ways of curing problems because doing it that way will help everything, not just the cysts. It might take time, but it's better.
