I am so nervous!?


Question:
I have to go to the obgyn tomorrow in the morning and im really nervous,I can't stand it!I have never been violated by a doctor...and im reallllly nervous.I am 22 and I havent been there before because I moved out of the house at 18 so my mom never took me and I never thought of going...but now I have to go because I missed 4 periods but I just had mine,it started on the first,do they have to do the internal exam?

Just go, get it over with, and I am sure everything will be OK.
Yeah they will...but dont worry I was nerves the first time also. And I know it unconfortable showing "down there" to strangers. But Make sure you have a nurse in there with you. Just stay relaxed and you will get over the nerves.
If you can have sex...you can got to the OBGYN. It is weird the first few times then it becomes a way of life. You HAVE to go annually or more if need be. With all of the STDs and cancers women face...it would be just plain stupid not to go and get checked on.
They will examine you with their hand and then with something else that "opens" you. Then they swab your cervix with a large q tip and your done.
you need to because that's crazy that you have missed four periods. dont think of it as a violation it's to keep you in good health
