Girls only plz ?

Question:
i just started my period yesterday and i got 3 questions to ask
1.how do i help cramps i go tthem bad ?
2.who do i tell can tell me mom she died
3.what was your first period story

Answers:
1. Cramps can be helped with a heating pad, warm baths, Motrin or Tylenol or Midol if you can get it.

2. Do you have a trusted friend? You could talk to her mother. Or do you have any other female relatives? They could help you also. Just an FYI, you're going to have to tell your father eventually. You're going to need sanitary supplies, so you'll either need money or need him to purchase them.

3. First period story? Kinda crappy. I was 10 (almost 11) and I started bleeding. I had thankfully had SOME sex ed in the 4th grade, so I knew i wasn't dying or anything, but I still panicked. I finally worked up the nerve to tell my mother. She looked at my underpants, said, "Yep. That's your period. Pads are under the sink. Good luck." That at was it. Pretty bad, huh?

Well, welcome to womanhood. I hope that you find folks to talk to. It will get easier with time. Take care.
You need to get someone to buy you some Midol for the cramps.
Talk to your aunt or grandmother.
I got my first period at 9. It was way before my mom thought I would start so I seriously thought I was dying. LOL
You can take Ibuprofen for cramps. A nice warm bubblebath or a heating pad on your stomach usually helps too.
1. get a heating pad and put it on your tummy where it hurts

2. Tell any older adult, someone you trust and know can help you get supplies

3. i was 11 years old and across the streete from my house at my friends playing barbie dolls. We went to the rest room because we both had to pee and when i pulled down my pants there was a dark brown something allllllll over my panties and shorts. I just sat there thinking OMG I STARTED before my friend who was like 12..it was funny cuz she got her period the next week after me and my other friend got hers the next month!!
Midol works great.

I'm sorry your mom is not here, you can prolly tell a friend or sisters if you have any. Boys usually don't like to hear about it.

I was 12 or 13 when I got mine and I was well educated on what it was and what it'll do and I STILL didn't realize that it was my period for like a month. It was a warm summer in San Francisco and my friends and I were getting chased by these boys, lobstor claw, ricebowl, and fatty. I couldn't run for the life of me because of my cramps and I seriously thought I was just crapping myself. I did have the sense to use a maxi pad so my underwear wouldn't get dirty. It was really brown and gross so it looked like poo. The next month when I wasn't running around anymore, the blood was more red and then I knew it was my period.

Welcome to womanhood! haha
1.- midol, tylenol, advil liquid gels
2- go to her grave or write her a letter and buy some balloons and send it up
3- Mine started when I was 12 an scared the life outta me I thought I was going to die.
1. Ibprofen or Midol, drink hot tea, put a heating pad on your stomach, soak in a warm tub, do simple yoga.
2. aunt, grandmother, older sister
3. I was in Ocean City, MD went into an outhouse and saw blood in my underwear.
midiol, advil,

when it comes down to who you can tell i would go to some one you trust or if you have a friend whos mom is like yourds then tell her. when comes to your first period your shy but need answers.

my first period happen at school ( hope this happen to you .. if not i know how you feel) i was in the 5th grade and i notice that i had some red stuff on my underwear, so i went to my teacher and she told me to go to the nurse and we called my and i went home. the good thing is i got to go home for the rest of the day :)
OK well you could try telling a close friend. When I got my period my mom told me to take Tylenol for the cramps. When I first got my period I was babysitting and I was wearing white shorts so it just soaked right through. My mom didn't really discuss it with me before that so I thought I was bleeding to death so my mom had to sit me down and tell me and stuff like that!! Can you say embarrassing!! Glad to help and good luck!!
1. banannas and midol. dont take anything with asprin. it'll make you bleed more. also try a warm heating pad, and exercising. not thinking about it helps, too.

2. your aunt, grandmother, etc. (and if you must, your dad)

3. got mine when i went to the movies w/ some friends one day. it stained my underwear (and fortunately not my new $135 jeans). my mom saw the panties when she was doing laundry. i didnt plan on telling her. shes so weird. so after she saw them she came and talked to me about it (and my face was ALL red!). so she got me some pads and i NEVER looked her in the face again for like 3 weeks. lol

welcome to womanhood! it totally sucks! good luck with bleeding for the next 40 years!
ok i can help you! lol
1. i had to deal with my cramps but ive heard that eating certain foods and stuff can help so look it up!

2. You can tell anyone you really trust and they should understand even your dad!

3. I was at school, during gym class i started to bleed through my pants and i didnt even know i was having my 1st period! talk about embarasment! everybody started laughing at me! and i kept asking why they were laughing my teacher got me some help cuz they thought i was injured! we were playing dodge ball! and my teacher was a male! but he knew what was really happening to me so he walked me to the "ladies" room and he heard me crying so after class me and him were talking and he told me that he knew i wasnt injured he just wanted to make sure i was ok! and now hes like my favorite teacher bcuz he helped me!
:: MIDOL. N DRINK LOTS N LOTS OF WATER. N DONT EAT FATTY FOODS. THAT'LL JUST MAKE YOU FEEL SOO MUCH WORSE.
:: TELL SUMONE YOU KNOE N TRUST THATS LIKE A MOTHER FIGURE TO YOU. N I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSE HUNNY.
:: FIRST PERIOD STORY?? BASICALLY I SAW BLOOD ON MY UNDERWEAR N STARTED FREAKIN OUT. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON. MY MOTHER NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING ABOUT HAVING A PERIOD.

BUT YEAAAA..

YOU'LL GET THRU IT MAMA.
you can buy midol, that helps a lot. or tylenol. talking a hot bath or lying on a heating pad helps really well too. put the pad near your lower back usually. do you have an aunt or close female family friend? if not, you could talk to your dad. i'm sure he has been expecting this day and he might want the chance to be there for you. i got my period when i was 14. luckily on a sunday. i was always so worried that i would get it during school. welcome to womanhood!
Get a microwavable hot pack and put it on your stomach when you are able. Take IB proufen or something in the mornings to lessen the pain. Dont take aspirin, it helps the pain, but makes you bleed more.

You can tell a teacher, school nurse or other family member. You can also go to a health clinic or a doctor if you need to

First story...honestly, you don't want to know. It lasted almost 3 weeks and I was certain it wasn't going to stop. But, eventually it got mostly straightened out.
Midol is really good for cramps, and tell your sister, (unless she's younger) or an aunt, just some one you can really trust. and i got mine at school! i was like sh!t, ummmmm. now what? so i had to go to my teacher (it was a guy!) and i asked if i could go talk to the other 6th grade teacher (that was a girl) and he wouldn't let me leave! i was like it's a girl thing, so then he said, your hair looks fine. so i had to tell him. then go to the other teacher. she didn't have anything, so then i had to go to the nurse!!
First, welcome to womanhood! Ok, to answer your questions..
1. If cramps are bad, there are a few things you can do, a hot water bottle on your tummy often helps, letting warm water in the shower run on your tummy often helps, if not, there are many things you can get from your pharmacy made especially for period pain, ponstan is about the best.
2. Do you have a sister? aunt? cousin? best friend? you can talk to any of those about this. If not, go to your doctor, you can talk to your doctor and they will be able to help you. Alot of places have womens health facilities. These are really good. Ran by women for women...you doctor would be able to direct you to the nearest one.
3. My first period doesn't really have a story. I was told all about it before it happened. I knew it would come, i was prepared. When it did come, i felt an odd kind of cramping feeling in my tummy, not bad..but unusual, i was fairly sure what it was so prepared. No biggie there.
Good luck with it all.
it may be embarrassing telling your dad but if you dont have an older sister, neighbor, or friend that you can tell, simply say that you need to go to the store to buy some "supplies" and he will know what you are talking about.

midol gets rid of cramps, bloating, etc., not just cramps so id take that instead of ibuprofin.

buy regular pads, night, and panty liners if you want. if you want to try tampons, but a box but my suggestion is to get pads incase you arent comfortable with tampons.

if you do use tampons, dont use them at night (shock) and dont buy sented ones because they can give you infections.

good luck, and remember it's just part of being a woman. =)
Teen extra strength Miodol
Tell your dad-yes he will need to know too / grandma /aunt/ older sibling/or friends parent

I was 13 years old (am still awaiting my 2nd period)
I prayed that my grandma would just Know, Then she said,
if your spotting you will get your period soon, you know? Then i said, I already got it.
So my aunt bought (pre ordered) me harry potter 7, My grandma took me out to dinner, and then tried to buy me the little house on the prarie set at $5 each but i wouldnt let her ;)

A warm water bottle and lying on your back with your feet up helps too, but the teen miodol worked best, also try taking a walk (even if its just around the house/yard.
Good Luck

Ps. It ok if its long or short at first (3-10 days) then it can be irregular for up to 2 years.
a hot water bottel and a hot drink help me with craps also if you do exercise it helps making your period lighter.
i am very sorry about your mum. is there any other female you live with i now its abit shamful to tell your dad. or do you have any close friends mothers that you could talk to?
when i first got my period i was to scared to tell my mum so i told my older sister she was very helpful she ended up telling mum they were very excited i couldn't understand why but i guess its a big thing in growing up.
1) Take some Midol and sit with a heating pad.
2) Ask your grandmother older cousin or a female teacher you can trust.
3) My first period started when I was almost 14. I was so excited because all my girlfriends had their periods and I was the last one. I knew once I got my period I was officially a woman! Unfortunately, I hate having it now because I have to take birth control to regulate it.
Sorry about your moms. Um...don't drink things with caffine such as tea or soda as it only makes cramps worse. Try a heating pad and some midol. Talk to your school nurse if you have no one else to help you, they are there to help.
ask an adult you trust about which medications u should try. motrin really helps me, thats what i take. if u have any female siblings i suggest you talk with them about it, and if you dont, im sure u have some girl friends who have had their periods be4 and they can give u some advice.
i got my first period last august, and it caught me by suprise. i was at home, not at school. but i still wasn't expecting it. i didn't get any cramps be4 my period, so i really had no idea it was coming. i was 12 at the time. basically theres not too much too tell, lol i dont have one of those facinating/ dramatic period stories. all it really was was a trip to the bathroom, and i looked down, and there was my period. it was light red and kinda blotchy. but i knew it was my period. i told my mom and a few of my friends and that was that. :) i was pretty excited though. i hope i helped! :) good luck!
