My boobs become horrendously sore before my period for at least a week! So bad sometimes I cant take my bra off because the heaviness is so painful! It's to do with a fluctuation in hormones. You say it's never happened to you before but,even so,this can happen at any time in your life. But I think it would be wise if you took a pregnancy test if you're not sure!!

i know when i am due for my periods i always seem to get tender breasts..
Did you have any hits to your breasts? I suggest you go to your doctor, and if you don't like him. Yell at him, leave, and get a new doctor =]
Breast sensitivity is sometimes a symptom of pms.

this can be a sign of pregnancy but u would have other signs too, late period, feeling sick tired etc. if yr doctor shouts would suggest u get a new one
Hmm could mean you're, pregnant, pmsing, or maybe someone has been squeezing them? that could be the reason too. Maybe you just slept on them wrong and put too much pressure on them?

if i was as bothered as you i would take a test just to calm my nerves and then go to the doc no matter what the outcome of the test was. i dont like my doc either because apart from being very opinionated, he's also rubbish at what he does but i would still go if i was uncomfortable or could be seriously ill.

More information is needed! Are you sexually active? Have you missed a period? If yes to those, go to your doctor! Sometimes you can get tender breasts when your period is due which can just randomly start. But I would definately see a doctor, even just to put your mind at rest!
