How long your period lasts usually depends upon the person. In a healthy female it is normal for a period to last anywhere up to 7 days, but it is also normal for a period to last only 3 or 4 days. I'd say the average for most females is about 5 days. This again depends on your body. You'll probably find that through your life, the flow of your periods may change and become heavier or lighter, but this is nothing to worry about either. As you come to the end of your period you may continue to spot a little blood for a few days; also normal. Any discomfort you may have can be alleviated by over the counter medications such as tylenol, advil, or midol. You can also take a hot bath or use a heating pad for the cramps--the heat will relax your muscles and make the cramping feel not so bad.

it'll last untilk sunday maybe. i know hun, it really is uncomfortable. just try not to think about it. for cramps, eat banannas and try a pill called "MIDOL".

It might be real light and short because it's the first one. Typically they last about 4 days or a couple more, at the end it's less blood and possibly brownish.

Ah, the joys of womanhood. It can last anywhere from 3 to 10 days, 5 to 7 is normal. Take some advil or aleve for the pain, it really helps but don't use tylenol, its a different kind of medicine that won't help with cramps.
depends mine lasts for five days it's different for all women and i got mine when i was 13 years old and i was in middle school. It could be like mine or it could be longer but ask your doctor just in case.
The first one is the worst. Later it doesn't last as long and it isn't as heavy. This one will last around 7 to 10 days.
