My period usually occurs around the ninth or tenth, today when using the bathroom I found brown discharge along with some blood spotting. What does this mean?

Stress can make you have your period sooner or later and heavier or lighter. I wouldnt worry too much, unless there is a foul odor you dont normally have. That might be an indication of an infection or other disease.
Blood goes brown after a while. My entire period is brown with occassional blood spotting.
