Im 14. 5"1 and i weight 150 lbs. im starting highschool and i feel ugly how can i lose wieght?

you might feel ugly because you think your fat but i got the answer for you. You should try to lose weight but going to a weight loss clinic trust me look in the yellow pages and look up weight loss doctors and try them out they give you pill that make you loose weight up to 7 pounds a week. trust me i lost about 20 pounds in a month try it you'll feel and look good.
You shouldn't feel ugly! I know exactly how you feel. I'm 5'1" [have been for the past 5 years] and I weigh around the same as you [my weight fluxuates, A LOT] and when I was 14, I was a lot heavier than I am now.

You're younger, so your body still has some time to grow. I don't know how your high school is set up, but take stairs as often as you can. Eat healthy food in the cafe. Participate in gym class.

Before you start school, start exercising at least three times a week for a half an hour to an hour every time. You can up it after a while to between an hour and two hours, depending on the activity [riding your bike is a great way to exercise, and you can ride for at least two hours without getting incredibly tired. Plus you can have a friend join you and it's more fun!] Look up exercises online, there are so many.

Also, you have to, have to, have to! eat healthy. It's So important. Cut down [or out] on fast foods and junk food. Drink lots of water instead of pop. You can buy flavored waters [if you don't like regular] almost anywhere.

Make sure you are doing this the safe way and try not to lose more than 2-3 lbs a week. I know it sounds terribly slow, but you really can tell a difference after you lose 5-10 lbs.

Good luck hun, and remember, it doesn't matter what other people think about you and your body, it's how you think and feel about yourself. Take care of yourself and nothing else will matter.
I am exacty the same height as you and 14 as well. To lose weight I just ate fruit and veggies and lean meat (chicken and turkey) and walked everyday, do whats best for you and talk to a doctor for suggestions.

Oh I feel so sorry for you. We all go through awkward stages. I had zits all over my face at 14. I know how you feel. One thing you can do to make yourself feel better is find a sports team at school to join. Or just find a friend to go on walks with. Sometime mom is your best friend in situations like this. Maybe you and your mom, or a neighbor could start walking together in the evening. To lose weight or just get into shape is hard work and most 14 year olds don't like to work, but I promise if you work hard it will pay off!! Good LUCK!
