Frequent UTI's no bacteria in culture?!?!?!?!?

Question:
Ok, so for the past year I have had at least 1 UTI per month (fun huh?). They say there are nitrites and white blood cells but whenever they do a culture there is nothing? Has anyone heard of this? To make matters worse, all the doctors around here just dismiss it as bad luck. Now, you can't tell me there isn't something wrong with me since this keeps happening. And yes I know all the hygiene rules, etc. so that isn't the problem.

Answers:
Have you tried getting a blood test? Maybe there's something going on there that doctor's aren't picking up.

That doesn't sound fun at all! You said you know all the hygiene rules .. do you use tampons? Or any feminine product with scent in them? That can cause a lot of problems.
when I was young, it always felt like I had a uti-I think it's just from being active, working and going to school. When your young you tend to wear tighter pants as well.
You can get products from the drug store, over the counter for Cystitus, ask the pharmisist-they work well, are soothing.
Drink cranberry juice.
try those cranberry capsule they have out, you can find them at walmart
