im 13 and a half and i had my 13 year physical about a week ago. lol. i was a little nervous too, and i personally asked my mom to step out becuz i knew it would get a little awkward. physicals always have me freaked out, but in the end i always realize its nothing to worry about. first, my doctor asked me some questions about how physical ive been, my sleeping routines, eating, and if i had my period. (which i had) . when she asked me to sit up on the table, i got a little nervous, cuz i kinda knew what was coming. but all she did was check my pulse in a few spots, look at the bottom of my feet, and show me where my liver was on my stomach. she didn't look between my legs or do anything awkward like i thought she would. this was the first year i actually felt comfortable at a physical. im sure you have nothing to worry about. i hope i helped! good luck! :)

It is most likely so that the doctor can ask you personal questions and answer your questions without embarrassing you in front of your mother. If there is any sort of gynecological exam to be done (though I would sincerely doubt it), then you could request either you mother or a nurse be present during that part of the exam. I wouldn't get to wigged out if I were you.
she'll feel your boobs for lumps, (you keep your bra on), she'll look down your pants, you'll pee in a cup, she'll cheek you for back problems, and ummmm, yeah thats about it. just a normal physical. nothing to be nervous about. and she'll ask questions, like, do you get cramps, how bad are they, things like that. have you ever cut yourself, been deprested. don't worry. it'll be fine!!
Your doctor will likely check for Scoliosis (a curved spine) and may feel your tummy/lower abdominal area to feel for irregularities. Expect your doctor to ask about your period: what you should watch for and if you have any questions you don't want to ask your mom.
You will also pee in a cup for standard testing. Nothing big. You don't have to pee in front of anyone. I doubt you will have a breast exam or pelvic exam at such a young age.
And...you will likely get the rest of your shots that started when you were a baby. I'm guessing:
1) Mumps vaccine
2) Polio vaccine
3) Tetanus vaccine --> this one stings! Watch out!
At thirteen your doctor shouldn't do any type of internal exam. If you're not comfortable having your mom in there you should request a nurse. I know the doctor is female but that protects you and her. More than likely she will just check your external genitalia and just generally see if everything looks normal
