Should i take an emergency contraceptive pill?

Question:
my boyfriend and i were having intercouse and he went in me. The thing is im on the first day of my "inactive" pill on my birthcontrol. will i get my period still if i dotn take the ec pill?

Answers:
If you have been taking your active pills -You are still protected during the week that you take your inactive pills. Take your inactive as usual you will have your period.Start active pills as usual.
It is not necessary to take morning after pill
why dont you wait a week to see if you get your period. since you had just come off the hormones, you're probably safe.
Go and get the ECP right away. The only time you are safe on the pill is when you are on the active pills. Of course, they're not always 100% effective and you should always use a condom anyway, but they're about 99% effective if taken right.

You can go to your local planned parenthood [www.plannedparenthood.com] and get the ECP there without having to take a trip to the emergency room and paying expensive bills.
As long as your taking your pill properly, you shouldn't be pregnant and there should be no reason to take the morning after pill.
Just know that if your on a low dosage pill, people have still gotten pregnant off of that. so use extra caution.
definitely go to your docs and get the morning after pill. why risk it? please take my advice otherwise you might regret it and will have weeks of worry when you can be sure now. Good Luck.
you do not need the morning after that said i will tell you that if you are going to be stressing about it just go to a planned parenthood and purchase it it is also available over the counter at most pharmacies nation wide. when you are using birth control pills properly there are the most effective form of birth control.
