If you haven't already, you should go to an ob-gyn as this might be a sign of something that is wrong internally. Of course, I could be totally wrong and your body is just messing with you.

Since you're sexually active, you should talk to a doctor about going on BC. It may help with these symptoms and of course, you wouldn't have to buy a pregnancy test every month, because you'd know that you're not! Of course you're kind of young [usually girls start the pill when they're 18, but sometimes it doesn't really matter as long as their body can handle it.] You should also go and get check ups every year since you're having sex.

However, if for some reason you can't go to an ob-gyn, you can go to your local planned parenthood [www.plannedparenthood.com] and talk to the people there, and get birth control pills from them. You can also get the ECP from them [you can buy a pack of them sometimes] to keep for emergencies.

Good luck!
If I were you, I'd get an appt. with a Gyn. She may be able to tall you if you possibly have fibroids, which can cause severe bloating such as you described. This will make you feel more at ease if you get a good check-up.

Have you ever heard of people being overweight? Maybe the same thing that causes that causes your problem. See site below to help your problem.

See fat loss tip # 10 on home page and see articles by 2 female MDs saying that bc pills cause obesity, depression, breast cancer and strokes (in response to others suggestions).
Honey, if you're not on the pill, you SHOULD be. If you've had a miscarraige at 16, that tells me you're not being responsible with your body on many levels. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but you have a bright future just waiting for you.
BCP's will also regulate your cycle, so you may have fewer PMS symptoms. Just a thought.
I think you need to see a good ob/gyn and go on birth control pills ... they'll help 'regulate your periods' and also allevieate the 'bad PMS' you are getting. You also may need to think about seeing a mental health counselor and getting a good evaluation done ... because you said that you had a miscarriage because of 'stress' and 'being worked up about PMS symptoms when you were actually pregnant ... you may have an 'anxiety disorder' and could use counseling and/or medication until your 'body' is in 'control' again.
have you talked to your doctor about this?

im not sure why that would happen every time you get near your period, but it could possibly have something to do with an irregular reaction in your ovaries...

im really not sure, but i would definitely ask a doctor asap if i were you. if its something serious, its better to catch it sooner than later.

good luck!!
I have the same problem...I hade to go to my OBGYN and she gave me some sort of pill and now i dont look pregnant!!
You are obviously sexually active, so therefore should be going to a gynecologist by now. Go to your doctor & tell him your symptoms. If you are worried about getting pregnant(which i would be at the age of 16) than quit having sex or get on birth control. 16 & pregnant is not the way you want to start out your adult life!
i think it is your doctor who can give you a better answer. In this forum, as well as in many other, there are not qualified people to give you a good answer. And some people won't take it seriously.

So i would suggest you to see the doctor.
First off, you are too young to be having sex. Wait until you are older and ready for marriage, because sex always eventually leads to pregnancy.
Secondly, it sounds like your hormones are way out of whack. You should see a doctor-it sounds like you need birth control pills or something to regulate your hormones. Also, if you bloat that much, try and avoid anything salty right before you period to help keep you from retaining as much water.
don't worry my girlfriend has the same thing what it really is hormones they get in balanced when that time of the month comes u loose vitamins and all sorts of stuff during that time here let me give u a web page that help me and my girl out (http://www.pms.com) it gives u treatment and explains what going on ull probaly have to go to a doctor so he can give u vitamins to take when it start good luck
You sound like your having a full life with this sex thing. Grin and bear it and if you dance to the music pay the fiddle player, come on girl your only 16. sounds like you started playing women hood at 14 or before. The next time you have PMS take it literally Pack Your Suitcase and try being a kid a while longer.
perhaps u should not have sex for 3 months and see how ur body reacts.

try getting on some birth control, that should ease ur mind.

drink alot of water

best wishes
