Birth control and emergency contraceptive?

Question:
if i take birth control on a normal basis (same time everyday for 5 years) and my boyfriend accidentally goes in me when i'm on my first "inactive" pill on my pack, should i take an emergency contraceptive? or will i be safe and get my period?

Answers:
no you wont be pregnant. the first answer nailed this one.
No, there is absolutely no need for emergency contraceptives if you are taking your pill at the same time everyday, then you are protected the same all month long even during your placebo week.

I would think that someone who has been on the pill for 5 years would know this. Please read your pill information pamphlet and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

The only times that you need to use alternative contraceptives when on 'the pill' occur when you've been taking medication that may compromise the effectiveness of 'the pill' such as St. John's Wort, antibiotics or anti-seizure medications or if you've accidentally missed or taken a pill or more late just to be safe.

What you should worry about, if you're not in a serious relationship with that boyfriend, is the possibility of a sexually transmitted infection not pregnancy as you were protected.
