i mean it pose to smell like blood i never have had it so bad that it smells up the bathroom i have had 2 periods in one month so i can say that part is normal maybe you should follow up with your doc..
Well usually it will smell because of all the blood on your pad, sitting there for so long can cause a stink, and generally blood does smell bad, ESPECIALLY coming out of a women's area!
Yes, it's normal to have a stink smell. And it's okay to not have clots, your period is fine. The only time clots happen is when the uterus sheds, that's the reason for clots. If your uterus doesn't shed, that's normal, too. it doesn't happen everytime.
You're fine!
Take care,
xx
P.S. If your blood is a darker colour, like brownish or even may look black, that is also normal!
Some do more than others, but it's usually not noticeable to anyone but you... Still, change your pad/tampon often, and keep taking regular showers.
Mine usually has a slight funk that I can smell when changing my pads or tampons. And as far as the frequency, yours is either not regulated or you spotted, which means you had a sort of miniature period. Its normal.
Try changing ur pad/tampon more often.
& using baby wipes often instead of
toilet paper.to keep u fresh. :))
Yes, they usually have a little odor. Unless it smells really fishy, it's nothing to worry about.
The smell during the period is due to the reaction that occurs when the blood becomes in contact with air. To avoid this smell, keep the area clean and dry in between changing your tampon or pad. Each time you change tampons or pads, wipe the area with water or even mild soap to remove all the blood that could be stuck on the pubic hair or the skin. Pat dry and put the tampon in or the pad on the panties.
Shaving the lips helps prevent bad smell. However, it's important to keep a good hygiene during and at all times.
If you are having a second bleeding session within 28 days, and it is not similar to your normal menstrual cycle, you may not be having a period. You should make an appointment with your dr immediately. Bright red bleeding with no clotting and a strange smell could be a serious medical problem. Call your dr... even it means going through the after hours phone line.
It happens, a fact of life. They do make some pads with scents, you might try that. Also, special attention to hygiene is important during this time of the month.due to hormones in your body.
If you are having a bad smell all of the sudden and you are using tampons, you should stop immediately and see a doctor. When using tampons, you have to make sure to change them often, otherwise unhealthy bacteria can multiply there and cause Toxic Shock Syndrome, so please be careful.
