Because Guys are mostly known for only taking first impressions. And If a guy See's an over weight girl he thinks "Oh well shes fat and not healthy or pretty, why would i like her?" I know it seems so harsh and it is. And guys that think like that are slf centerd idiots because i bet if they got to know the girls personality he would fall in love with her. But ya Its mostlly Just couse they dont think overwieght girls are pretty. And why date a fat girl when i can find a skinny one! whippe. Ya i know its so retarted but thats why.
Because guys like girls that they can flaunt around,they want someone smaller then them because it makes them look big and buffer.Bottom line,it's all about that the media says,if skinny is in,then guys like skinny.Hopefully one day being normal and and being yourself will be in,But it's not always like that.some guys are the opposite,they like plumper girls,I may not be the skinniest or the fattest girl in the world but I have respect for guys who like girls any way they are.
Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. You know, most guys are into this whole thing where everygirl has to look like Victoria's Secret model- really skinny and voluptuous at the same time. The reality is, most women don't look like this! But guys, they don't really know reality, and they go for women based soley on the looks that they see in the media because these looks are "hot". Guys who don't go for overweight girls are probably just shallow! Every woman is hot in her own way!
Because it shows the girl doesnt take care of herself. If she is fat she isnt likely to change. They need to know to do something about it. It just isnt attractive.
Not ALL guys refuse to go for over weight girls. For the ones that do, they are superficial, more interested in sex appeal than personality, which never makes for a good relationship anyhow...not worth any girl's time, over weight or not. Decent guys obsess less about physical appearance, and some guys even prefer a curvy girl, maybe with a little junk in the trunk lol!
my dad is normal for his age...i mean his body weight and everything and my mom is super skinny but they never got married and he married another woman that was 3 times his size

my wife is a size 22, and i think she is absolutely gorgeous, and very sexy!
when i first met her, she was a size 16, and after she had our daughter, she is a size 22.
i think her body is mind boggling, and she has THE best bum I have ever seen!
there are still some guys out there that like girls they connect with, and aren't looking for some skinny little trollop with no boobs to flaunt around with.
