Ok, this is kind of weird and gross but.?

Question:

okay about 4-6 months ago i got my nails done in the evening and i slept with them on and for some unknown reason my butt crack started to itch. i was like half asleep so im guessing i scratched it like heck. in the morning there was blood all over me. i went to the bathroom thinking it was my period but when i wiped i saw no blood. then my crack started to burn. i wiped it and found blood. and i know this may soun weird, but i looked at in in the mirror and dicovered hat there was a cut there. so i said 'ok, no biggie. it'll heal on its own.' but then it turned into a HOLE! i mean, you can actually see inside it. so i said 'ok, its a biggie, but it'll heal and seal on its own.' so it stayed that way sometimes it got smaller and it would almost close than it would stretch and go back again. so i still thoght that it would be able to heal on its own and i left it alone for about 2-3 months. now whn i look at it, it has gotten BIGGER AND WIDER! how do i treat it?

You have an infection, my dear. Maybe an abcess. Now you have to go to the doctor for medicaton. Probably no stitches though as they would not want to seal the infection up. They might pack it or cover it so it can drain. But whatever, go to the doctor. Don't ignore it, it won't go away, it will just get worse.

You have a nasty infection from the wound. YOU HAVE TO go see the doc and get antibiotics for it. They may have you pack the wound with medicine too. Just tell your mom what happened and get it treated ASAP. If you don't get it treated it will get worse and you may need surgery to fix it.

Go to the ******* doctor who cares if it hurts that could be a big problem.. Im freaking serious.

I reallly think you should go to a doctor save yourself tell your mom I mean theres a hole in your butt you cant just treat it at home!and wats a couple of stitches compared to a lifetime of pain and having a giant hole in your crack and maybe not even a lifetime you could die!

You need to go to the hospital! You could die if the infection gets worse.

you HAVE to go to the doctor! its infected and can get VERY bad if not treated medically by a professional! i know youre scared but TRUST ME, anything you have to go through now wont be worse than what youd have to go through if it gets any worse! it sounds bad! how do you sit down!?

being at such a young age i think that you should suck it up and tell a parent, its not like they'll refuse to take you to the hospital because this thing sounds very serious

Telling your parents and getting this thing fixed or Having this thing become infected and ending up causing unfixable damage to your health

I'm sorry, but you REALLY NEED to go to the doctor. I think thats the best thing for you to do. I doubt they'll put stitches in it, but it they do, then you needed them! Better safe than sorry, right?
PS: I really liked the part of the story when you said "its not biggie" then you said "its a biggie", that was pretty funny it made me L-O-L. I've got to use that phrase on my own now. haha

Ok i know you don't feel comfortable with the dad thing, i wouldnt either lol. But even though u dont have a good relationship with your mom you HAVE to tell her. This could result in a VERY SERIOUS AND DEADLY INFECTION if not treated properly. Try putting like, I don't know maybe like neosporion or something but im NOT SURE if it will burn or anything. im just guesing. good luck.

umm this is an obvious duh question. go to the doctor duh. it might hurt but at lest you wont die! gross you dont want to be at school and some random guy saying, "yuck it smells like booty." you are thinking wow thats me. go to the doctor and get that fixed

If it is leaking fluid than it sounds like it could be a skin abscess, which occur when an infection causes pus and infected material to collect in the skin. So if you did scratch yourself with your nails, the material could have caused an infection in the skin. I would advise you to consult a physician who can diagnose an abscess based on the appearance of the lesion. If left untreated, an abscess can spread and infect surrounding tissue. You should tell your mother. Sounds like you were bitten by a spider.unfortunately it sounds like it isn't going to go away by itself. She must like kids, she probably likes you more than you know...give her another chance. It will probably make her feel good to help you.

Umm,put those big band aid's on it and wash it so it doesn't get infected.I wish I had a better answer but I don't.And it's okay,I don't find it gross,it's more humorous then gross.But I keep thinking that there may have been something on your nails to make it go crazy,like a chemical or something.

Look. You are young ..yes and you do not have a good relationship with your parents but this doesn't look like something to mess around with. lose the pride and the fear. you need to see a doctor. talk to your mom and go. home remedies may make things worst so just go and see a doctor. not knowing what the problem is then putting stuff you're not not sure will help on it may cause infections. don't play with your health like that.

It is very infected, probably staph. IF the infection gets in your whole system it can kill.
You have been messing with it too long! This is extreemely serious!!
You will need very powerful pills and ointment. Go to a school nurse, an aunt, SOMEBODY!
This can make you die. It can not heal without powerful antibiotics.

my friend had this same problem one time. he had to go to the doctor and they gave him some pills and it healed up. you need to go to the doctor asap!

You can't treat it at home. you need to be seen by a doctor immediately and have the "hole" thoroughly cleansed and treated professionally especially if it is oozing out puss-like fluid. With this being so serious as you have not done anything about this for 2-3 months, you NEED to tell someone, and have them take you to the doctor as soon as possible or you will risk having this infection spread even further into your body, which could make you very ill.

If this is a true situation, you NEED and HAVE and SHOULD tell your parent/s. Call an advice nurse. It sounds like you have an infection.

Regardless of your relationship with your mom- I think she would rather know if her daughter is in some serious hurt rather than to wake up one day with a very serious problem all of a sudden.

It is possible when you scratched the chemicals which were used on the nails affected your skin- you know similiar to when you get your hair colored & the instructs always say to do a "strand-test" in case you are allergic. It could be you had a small scratch, but due to the nails being freshly done, your skin could have had an allergic reaction

My grandmother had something exactly like this on one of her butt cheeks and it turned into a HUGE hole. It turned out that it was a flesh eating bacteria. She got hers from sitting on a public restroom seat. Who knows how you got your, you could have gotten it from the nail salon. Got to the doctor ASAP. It may not be a flesh eating bacteria, but it definatly sounds serious and you don't want it to spread to your lady good if you know what I mean.

i'm not trying to scare you or anything but that sore is really serious!! i'm a cna and i see those sores everyday. they can get a lot worse.and urs will if you don't tell ur mom and go to the doctor. good luck!!

it might be serious but it will be serious if it gets infected go straight to the doctor!!
