Are periods a sign of fertility?

Question:

Answers:
Not Specifically

Periods if regular are a strong indication that you are ovulating(especially with pain when starting). The egg then has to travel down your fallopian tube ,become fertilised and then implant in the uterus.

So if you are ovulating BUT there is an abnormality of your tubes(e.g. blocked) or an abnormality of your uterus causing difficulty with implantation there maybe a problem in becoming pregnant -that is infertility
They mean you can get pregnant, so yes.
You have a period because the lining of your uterus is shedding (reason for the blood) because your egg was unfertilized (you didn't get pregnant)
In a sense yeah.but it doesn't gurantee a pregnancy.it mainly just tells the body it's capable of having children not that it will.
No. My friend is battling infertility and her periods are very much regular.
