Period Problems?

ok i just started my period and i dont know that much about it...which brings me to this when i use the restroom i notice chunks of blood there not that big but i have no i dea what thay are if there like clots or something.. i dont have sex i dont use tampons i have no medical condition and i am not overweight

Answers:
thats very normal. what a period is is your bodys way cleaning your ovarys lining after you ovulate. your body makes an egg that takes about 28 days then sheds the ovarian lining which is what you know as your period. and thats why its thicker than blood from say a cut on your arm
that usually happens when your peroid is over like the last few days
its not unusual to get clots on your first period, but it isnt common, either. but, its not like your going to die or something. dont use tampons if you are passing clots. use pads. and if your period lasts more than 3 days past when it usually ends, and you have a steady flow with clots still comming from it, then i suggest that you go see your doc/gyn immadiately.

good luck!
what the clumps of blood are your bodies way of cleaning out the lining of your uterus not your overies...it is very normal
