Mine isn't exciting. I was at Ocean City, MD (at that time they had a shanty town) and I went into one of the port-a-potties and saw blood in my underwear.
ok mine isnt exciting. so yesterday i got mine and usually everyday i used to see if i got mine...and i didn't and i was disappointed. but yesterday i wasn't even checking and i got it. now i hate it cause the pads are not comfortable (well for me). I want to use a tampon soon but i'm scared to but i want to swim! well there you go! lol

Why would you want to hear stories. Im a guy and i know what its like... all it is. eggs are being released and it comes out of ur vaagina as blood thats why u were tampons or pads so u wont have blood stains in ur pants. I was in Grade 9, and was in the washroom at gym time - and there it was! Got a little scared, piled up some toilet paper into a little pad, and called my mom. She didn't drive, so she had to call my dad to leave work, to come get me at school, and take me home. Mom gave me the supplies I needed to start off with.
That seems like a gazillion years ago, and actually was - I'm now 46 and waiting for it to STOP!
Good for you to be excited about it - it's a wonderful time, becoming a woman and I'm glad you have such a positive feeling about it! Just remember to ask your mom lots of questions whenever you have them - and just don't believe everything your friends say. Every girl is different.
I was 12 when I got it. It was during school. I didn't even notice it at all!! As soon as I got home and went to the bathroom. There it was. THANK GOD it didn't bleed through, or that would have been such an embarrassment!
