Of course, but the first few times, you probably need to practice at home. Usually we don't get it in deep enough and we feel like the tampon is falling out and it hurts. Don't be afraid to lay on the bed or whatever and keep pushing it or twisting it in until you hit a wall. Don't be afraid. If you are really dry, it will hurt. Don't try superplus at first, they will probably kill you, unless you flow like crazy. Once you get used to them, they are the greatest things ever invented. I too thought like you when I was your age. I was scared to cram something in.

It would also be a good idea to ask your Mom or Dad to take you to see a gynecologist. Ask them to find one that is good with teens that will explain what is happening to your body.
Do some research on the web if your parents allow it. Make a list of questions for the doctor. Do not be shy or afraid. If you are embarrassed to ask in front of your parent ask your parent if you can talk to the doctor alone (With a nurse present of course.) Sometimes it is easier to just make a list and hand it to them.
That is what I do sometimes because I forget some of the things I want to ask. This is an exciting time of your life! You are becoming a woman! Just do not rush to have sex. It is better to wait for love and/or marriage.
