Girls Question?

Question:
I have heard that larger girls get there periods before thinner girls is this true?

Answers:
Well, of course, it really depends that on what your body's pace is going, but yes, usually bigger girls, since they have more fat on them, they tend to get their periods sooner than thinner girls, but again, it totally depends on how your body matures.

Hope I helped! Good luck!
not necessarily. i mean i know where you are coming from....
i am pretty much one of the smallest girls in my group of friends (w8 wise and chest) but i got my period first...so yeah probably not.
I think it's only true if someone is under weight. If your body can't handle having a baby, you won't get you period.
Not exactly. It is true that girls who are underweight get their periods later. Girls who are anorexic or very athletic light not get their periods. Your body requires a certain ammount of fat content to function normally. It doesn't make a difference how fat your are. It really only makes a difference if you are so skinny it is unhealthy. Too skinny means you are malnourished. Eat right, exercise, and try to maintain a healthy body weight. Neither too skinny, nor too big.
I don't know but most girls I know that are large do seem more developed that the rest
no sweety girls when they reach a certain point in life cycle harmoanes that is it from age 8 to around 13 yrs. fat or skinney.
i was chubby when i was younger and i got mine when i was 10 and my sis got hers when she was 13 and she was smaller than i was at nine...i have a friend who is really skinny and she got hers a few years b4 she turned 11 so i guess it depends on your body's ability to handle these things
