Probably normal discharge, just your body's way of keeping itself clean. For women who have their period, the consistency of the discharge generally changes depending on where they are in their cycle...it can go from the white, to clear goop, etc...
You'd know it if it was an infection, they generally itch/burn terribly until treated.

This is one of the first signs of puberty. It's called discharge and it is how you vagina clens itself out. From the time this starts you may et your period any time from 6 months to 2 years.
