When can I take a bath (not a shower) after breast reduction surgery? (Please, helpful answers only!)?

You know what, you'll hate this but you NEED to ASK your DOCTOR!
You should not submerge your incisions (steri-strips or not) into any bath water until you are 150% sure your incisions are closed.
I was not able to take a bath for at least 12 weeks post op.
For your shower, take a chair and put it in the shower, let the water run over your breasts and not beat on them. Use soap and lather your hands real good then wash your breasts that way. Be sure to rinse and dry off well.
That would be a good question for your doctor.
They were paid good money to perform the surgery. Do you REALLY want to take medical advice from a bunch of people on YouQA.com ?
i would not submerge the incision lines in the water for at least 14 days, or until you are sure they are fully closed.
I don't quite know, but good for you, getting reduction surgery
Your surgeon can field this question--and it should be directed to him or her. But in general, bathing is postponed until steri-strips (if any) fall off and sutures are removed.
Discharge instructions usually have information about bathing listed.
